1) Don’t fall in the pressure of enjoying yourself
In beginners, there’s always the pressure of justifying the decision of travelling alone. It hinders confidence, so believe in yourself and back your decision. Transfer your focus on planning the trip out or just take a look at the pictures of the location.

2) Plan out the budget
This is the most vital part of Solo travelling. You may plan your itinerary or go on an unplanned trip, planning the budget is crucial for both. Set the max spending limit and keep the security amount aside.

3) Research about the place
This is often debatable as some people like to know about the place at the place itself. However, for a solo traveller, I would recommend you search each and every hooks and nook of the internet about that place. And after all this, I guarantee you that you’ll still find something new when you’ll visit the place. Seeing the pictures on the internet won’t affect your experience when you reach there.

4) Hostels over Hotels
This is a no-brainer, even if you are someone who won’t feel comfortable sleeping in a dorm with strangers then just buy a private room at that hostel. Hostels are made for solo travellers and they do a pretty good job at it.

5) Never pre-book your stay
If you are on a tight budget, this tip will come in quite handy to you. Use the booking sites/apps only to find stays at that location. Reach your destination, explore it a little bit, search for homestays if you could, and then book your stay.

6) Handy snacks & safety equipment
You never know what kind of food you’ll get in your way, so keeping a pack of protein bars is always a safe option. Other than this, you ought to keep safety equipment with you, it can be a small knife or even a pepper spray.
